Arlene Schultz

Arlene Schultz, age 84, of Frazee, MN passed away on July 27, 2013 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham with Pastor Carl Noble officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Schoeneberger Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will take place at Gorman Township Cemetery, rural Frazee, MN.

Arlene was born on May 2, 1929 at home in Gorman Township, the daughter of Henry and Leona (Carstens) Jorgenson. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. On November 2, 1947 Arlene was united in marriage to Norbert Schultz. They lived on the family farm all their lives. Arlene loved to cook for everyone who visited. Arlene's faith was very important to her. She continually prayed for the sick, for a good crop, for those in troubled times and prayed for continued happiness around her. Arlene's family and friends were her joy.

Surviving Arlene is her son, Dale (Darlene) Schultz of Perham, MN; her daughters, Sharon (Gerald) Mindermann of Dilworth, MN, Betty (Keith) Janke of Frazee, MN, and Joyce (Bruce) Perrine of Perham, MN; her 11 grandchildren, Dean (Amanda) Schultz, Deanna (David) Hartmann, Darren Schultz, Mark Mindermann, Alicia (Josh) Bement, Bryan Janke, Kelly (Mary) Janke, Kyle Janke, Brandon Perrine, Greg (Alyssa Kluenenberg) Perrine and Dylan Perrine; her 11 great-grandchildren, Faith, Lilly, Maya, Alyssa, Alexis, Espen, Nadia, Andie, Elise, Owen and Greyson; her brothers, John (LaJean) Jorgenson of Shakopee, MN, Vernon (Connie) Jorgenson of Frazee, MN, Virgil (Mary) Jorgenson of Wadena, MN and Doug Jorgenson of Frazee, MN; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Arlene in death are her parents; her husband Norbert in 1990; and her sisters, Berniece Teckemeyer and Lenora Teckemeyer.
