Betty McCulloch Jahn, age 76, of Perham, MN, died Monday, October 1, 2005 at her home. There are no funeral services planned.
Betty was born Elizabeth Susan Masko in Hammond, IN on January 27, 1929 the daughter of Mike and Gladys (Wedeking) Masko. At the age of 4 her father was killed. Later, her mother, Gladys, married Gordon Franklin McCulloch. Betty graduated from Wausau High School in Wausau, WI, 1946. She was united in marriage to Richard William Jahn in Duluth, MN in 1950. They settled down in Madison, WI where she loved to work at the University of Wisconsin in the Department of Communicative Disorders until she retired in 1993. Betty and Richard moved to Perham in 1994.
Betty is survived by her stepfather, Gordon, Perham, MN; two sons, Greg Jahn, Rochester, MN; Rick (Nancy) Jahn, Packwaukee, WI; grandchildren Rickey, Elliot and Wesley Jahn, Packwaukee, WI; Justin Jahn, Silverthorne, CO; Jennifer (Brice) Murphy, WI; great grandchildren, Brooke and Adam Murphy, WI; and an uncle, Bill (Nikki) Wedeking, Medford, WI.
Preceding Betty in death are her husband, Richard, March 11, 2003; and her mother, Gladys.
