October 11, 1984 — December 18, 2003

Funeral services for Bradley James Smith, age 19, of Perham, MN, will be Tuesday, December 23, 2003, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dent, MN. Visitation at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, is Monday, December 22, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Bradley died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at St. Mary?s Regional Health Center, Detroit Lakes, MN, as the result of a car accident.



Bradley was born in Nurnberg, Germany, October 11, 1984, the son of James and Patricia Smith where they were stationed in the military. Bradley had the opportunity to grow up in many different geographical areas of the world prior to setting roots in Perham, MN. Bradley graduated from Perham High School in 2002. He was attending Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN, taking classes as a freshman. Bradley?s goals were in the direction of sports medicine.



Bradley lived life to the fullest and enjoyed being with the people he loved; that includes family and friends. He was adventurous and loved trying new things. Bradley enjoyed playing football and basketball. MSU-Moorhead recruited Bradley to play on their football team.



Surviving Bradley are his mother and father, Patricia and James Smith, of Perham, MN; grandparents, Hugh and Ethel Smith, of Richville, MN and Jay and Iyone Tollefson; his uncle, Hugh Smith, Jr. and his aunts, Shurnie Karger and Pamela Edtrom.



Bradley?s memories and spirit , strengthened by family and friends, will touch the hearts of those who knew him. We love you with all our heart, Bradley. We will never forget you smile that is now lighting up the heavens above.
