Carson was born October 9, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Steve and Lynn (Malikowski) Breitenfeldt. Carson was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham, MN, on November 19, 1995, by Pastor Terry Grzybowski. In his all too brief life, Carson was known for always giving 110% in everything he attempted or participated in. Carson's 3rd-4th grade classmates at Heart of the Lakes Elementary in Perham remember him as an avid reader, artist, wrestler, and someone willing to share what he had with others. He was a true friend to all. Carson loved family activities, trips, and spending time with his friends. He loved participating in all sports, especially wrestling. His true passion was hunting and fishing with his Dad, brother, Connor, Grandpa Harold, and special cousin, Matt. Carson never tired of hunting or fishing and was known for always being the last one to want to leave the woods or lake.

Carson's terrific sense of humor and love of a good practical joke kept us all entertained and on our toes. The light in Carson's eyes was evidence of the goodness and compassion in his heart. The constant sparkle was a reflection of the love of all who knew him. His ever-present smile will be sadly missed by all.
