David Fithen, age 57, of Richville, MN, died November 16, 2010, at his home.
David was born August 24, 1953, to Marion and Mae Fithen. He lived on Walker Lake, Richville, MN, for the first few years of his life, then to Fergus Falls, MN, until his teenage years when his family moved back to Richville. He was united in marriage to Sandi Shelton on March 1, 1974, and together they had two children, and later five wonderful grandchildren. David loved his children and grandchildren very much and was so proud of them all.
David enjoyed hunting and spending time at the lake every 4th of July where he would bbq for his family and friends. He enjoyed going to all of the grandkidsa�(TM) games and horse shows. He took the whole family to Disneyworld for Christmas 2009 which they will all remember.
David had many adventures throughout his life. His latest was building the Rockina�(TM) Horse CafAC. in Richville where he soon became known as the a�~singing chefa�(TM) to many. Later he started Mr. Da�(TM)s Excavating with his son, Ryan.
He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends as he touched so many of our lives in the years we had with him. We will cherish our time with him in our hearts forever!
David is survived by his wife, Sandi; two children, Melissa (Warren) Baardsen and Ryan Fithen; five grandchildren, Carolynn, Austin, Brianna, Caitlin and Zachary; a brother, Art (Linda) Fithen; a sister, Louise Forde; a brother-in-law, Clinton Erickson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding David in death are his grandparents; parents; and two sisters, Judy Jordahl and Margaret Erickson.
