Fred Henry "Fritz" Mohr, age 83, of Perham, MN died Sunday, November 6, 2005 in the Perham Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. in St. Henry's Catholic Church, Perham, with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. in the Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham.
Fred was born the son of Henry and Regina (Siebels) Mohr on October 28, 1922 in Perham, MN. He was raised and attended school near Perham. He then worked for area farmers, thrashing and working in the fields. Fred then was employed at the Star High feed mill in Perham. He was united in marriage to Clara Bormann on August 7, 1945 in St. Henry's Catholic Church. They made their home in Perham. Following his work in the feed mill, Fred worked for Tuffy's in Perham. He retired in 1987.
Fred enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was always there to help people and was a loving husband. This summer Fred and Clara celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Clara, Perham, MN; a sister, Dolores Olson, Moorhead, MN; and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim; and two sisters, Mary and Pauline.
