Hulda Wendt

Hulda Ida Wendt, age 88, Perham, MN, died November 3, 2005 at Perham Memorial Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 7, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Corliss Township, rural Perham, MN. Reverend Del Meyer will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.



Hulda was born February 16, 1917 in Vergas, MN, the daughter of Karl and Anna (Heise) Rosentreter. She married Adolph Wendt on December 16, 1936 in St. John's Church, Corliss Township. Together they farmed in the Corliss area all their lives. Hulda loved flowers, gardening, quilting and baking. She moved into the Perham Memorial Home in 2002.



Hulda is survived by her husband, Adolph, Perham, MN; and two daughters, LaVera Peichel, Frazee, MN; Carine Meyer, Perham, MN; five grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.



Preceding Hulda in death are her parents; daughter, Darleen Kluge, June 17, 2003; brother, Karl Rosentreter; sisters, Elsie Schroeder; Fredia Lubitz; Olga Wendt; grandchild, Derrick Peichel; and son-in-law, James Peichel.
