Irene Paschke, age 86, of Richville, MN, died at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home, Perham, MN, January 22, 2004. Funeral services will be Monday, January 26, 2004, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Richville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. Burial will follow in the Richville Village Cemetery. There will be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church only.
Irene was born September 16, 1917, in Alcester, SD, the daughter of LeRoy and Lucille Wilkinson. The family moved to Iowa. Irene married Glenn Myers in December of 1935. To this union, two children were born. In 1949, they moved to Minnesota. On March 7, 1962, Irene was united in marriage to Norb Paschke. Norb died on October 3, 1970. Irene was very active in the Methodist Church, the Richville Senior Citizens Center, Home Bible Study, Sunday School, Ladies Aid and the Relief Corps.
Irene leaves one daughter, Virginia (Marvin) Vilhauer, of Highmore, SD; one son, Murel (Donna) Myers, of Richville, MN; four grandchildren, Cheryl (James) Bock, of Deer Creek, MN, Lowell (Deann) Whitney, of Perham, MN, Joann Myers and Glenn Myers, of Richville, MN; four great-grandchildren; one stepson, Richard (Dorothy) Paschke, of California; one step-daughter, Jean Ewald, of the Twin Cities, MN as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Irene in death are her parents and husband, Norb.
