Lynn W. Johnsen, age 83, of Perham, MN, died Monday, November 1, 2010, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home.
Lynn was born February 28, 1927, in Redfield, SD, the son of Niels and Gertrude Johnsen. After high school he farmed with his father until enlisting in the US Army in 1950. Lynn served two years in Germany and while returning home met the love of his life, Helen Sahli, who later became his wife. They were blessed with their first child, Roger, in Redfield, SD. Lynn was transferred to Litchfield, MN, where he continued to work at the grain elevator and lumberyard. Later they moved to Northern Minnesota where Lynn worked as a carpenter until his retirement.
Preceding Lynn in death are his parents, Niels and Gertrude; wife, Helen; and son, Niels "Butch" Johnsen.
Lynna�(TM)s family and friends have lost a wonderful man. His children will miss a very loving father that would do anything for them.
