Marie Isabelle Hanson, age 75, of Perham, MN, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Perham Memorial Home after a brief struggle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Schoeneberger Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Perham Village Cemetery.
Marie was born December 19, 1930 the daughter of Claude and Cleoria Brown in Richville, MN. She attended school through the tenth grade and then went to work for Scott Atwater Outboard Motors in St. Paul, MN until the business moved out west. When Marie returned to Richville, she worked at the egg plant in Perham, Tuffy's and the cafAsh - she loved to talk to people. She also worked at the Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids turkey plants. Marie loved dogs, cats, chickens and raising vegetables in her own garden. Marie was married to Rickey D. Hanson on May 27, 2000. They enjoyed 5 years, 8 months and 25 days of marriage together.
Marie is survived by her husband, Rickey; a sister, Florence Sanborn, Richville, MN; and a brother, Francis Brown, Arizona.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carlis.
