Mark Loerzel

Mark J. Loerzel, age 49, of Perham , MN , died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 , at his home on Little McDonald Lake.


Mark was born September 29, 1959 , in Crookston , MN , the son of Paul and Mary Ann (Kowalski) Loerzel. Mark was raised in Perham and graduated from Perham High School . Mark was married to Jill Poulson on February 24, 1981 , in Perham and together had two children, Andrea and Jay.



Mark was employed in the family Holiday Station Store business. At the present time, Mark and his brother, Scott, are operators and co-owners of the business in Perham. Mark enjoyed living at the lake and taking his grandchildren fishing. He also took pride in his 1979 Trans-Am and always had an interest in cars.



Mark is survived by his parents, Paul and Mary Ann, Perham, MN; two children, Andrea (Tamarac) Peets, Coeur D’Alene, ID; and Jay Loerzel, Perham, MN; brothers, Scott (Bonnie) Loerzel, Perham, MN; Luke Loerzel, Pelican Rapids, MN; and Rick Loerzel, Pelican Rapids, MN; one granddaughter and three grandsons which Mark loved and adored and several nieces and nephews.
