Michael Walk

October 25, 1967 — April 17, 2006

Michael Walk, age 38, of Ottertail, MN, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home, Perham, MN, under the care of Lakeland Hospice. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 20, 2006, at 2:00 pm at United Methodist Church, Richville, MN, with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. Burial will follow at the Perham Village Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and also one hour prior to services at the church.



Michael was born October 25, 1967, in Perham, MN, the son of Marvin and Marie (Keidel) Walk. Michael was born and raised in Perham and attended school there. He worked for Productive Alternatives, Inc. where he did piece work and supervised jobs in the Perham area. Michael enjoyed watching NASCAR races, the Dukes of Hazard TV show, Scooby Doo cartoons, listening to Christmas music, and driving John Deere tractors.



Michael is survived by his parents, Marvin and Marie Walk, Ottertail, MN; two brothers, Matthew (Jennifer) Walk and their children, Hayley, Brynne, and Aaron of Albertville, MN; Manuel (Deborah) Walk and their children, Rebekah, Isaiah, and Leah of Crystal, MN; and a sister, Melissa (Chad) Rockvoy of Eagan, MN.



Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ida Walk; Frank and Kundy Keidel; and three uncles, Merle Walk, Leon Keidel, and Michael Keidel.



In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lakeland Hospice or Productive Alternatives, Inc.
