Patricia was born August 8, 1953, the daughter of Julian and Barbara Tollefson in Eveleth, MN. She grew up in Sparta, MN, located on the Iron Range and graduated from Gilbert High School in 1972. Patricia married her husband, James Smith, in 1982 and they traveled all over the United States and Europe. Their son, Bradley, was born in Germany. When James retired from the military they moved to Perham, MN. Patricia loved motorcycle riding, doing crafts, painting, sewing and fur work. She and James owned Peter Paul Furs and worked out of their home. Patricia?s real joy was being involved with the Angel of Hope Park located in Perham. After the loss of their son, Patricia looked at the project as a type of therapy for herself when she lost her son. She lived life to its fullest and enjoyed being with people she loved and always looked forward to meeting someone new. The one place Patricia loved most was at her kitchen table talking with friends over a warm cup of coffee.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James, Perham, MN; father and stepmother, Julian and Iyone Tollefson, Hoyt Lakes, MN; sister, Pamela Edstrom, Perham, MN; father and mother-in-law, Hugh and Ethel Smith, Richville, MN; brother-in-law, Hugh Smith Jr., Hoyt Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Sharon Karger, Richville, MN; nephew, Cody Edstrom, Perham, MN; many aunts and uncles who live on the Iron Range and friends all around the world.
