Robert L. Anderson, age 84, of Perham, MN, died at the Perham Memorial Hospital, January, 1, 2005. A memorial service will be held at the Perham Village Cemetery, in the spring.
Robert was born September 6, 1920, in White Rock, South Dakota, the son of Robert and Josephine (Soberg) Anderson. He was united in marriage to Dolores Solomon on November 10, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Robert drove city bus in Rockford, Illinois for 12 years. The family moved to Minnesota in 1965 where Robert owned and operated his own semi-trucks until his retirement. His hobbies included gardening and taking care of his beloved dog, Mitzi.
Surviving Robert is his wife, Dolores, of Perham, MN; his son, Robert (Marcy) Anderson, of Walker, MN; his daughter, Rebecca (Joe) Esser, of Perham, MN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding Robert in death was a son, Terry Anderson.
