Robert Jund

Robert "Bob" James Jund, age 68, of Coon Rapids, MN, died Friday, October 7, 2005, while hunting with his brother Tom. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, rural Perham, MN at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Epiphany Cemetery in Coon Rapids. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, from 4 ? 8 pm at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham, MN, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.



Bob was born on May 16, 1937 in Zeeland, ND, the son of Tony and Erna (Schweigert) Jund. After graduating from Zeeland High School, he served four years in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Zelazny on February 11, 1961 in Floodwood, MN. Together they had three children. In his youth, Bob was a star basketball and baseball player. He often told stories of playing ball with his brothers Ray and Tom. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching his grandchildren's sporting events.



Bob is survived by his wife, Dorothy, Coon Rapids, MN; two sons, David Jund; Donald (Jean) Jund; daughter, Caren (Zon) Nienaber; grandchildren, Chas, April, Zach (Julia), Alex, Donald, Tony; great granddaughter, Brooklyn; brother, Ray (Lorraine) Jund; and five sisters, Elsie Seiler, Frances (Arnold) Schmitt, Celia Wald, Mary Lou (Emil) Hamann and Donna (Dick) Senftner.



Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
