Robert James ?Bob? Licence, age 58, of Perham, MN, died at MeritCare Medical Center, Fargo, ND, Monday, February 2, 2004. Funeral services are Friday, February 6, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., in St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Perham, with Reverend Terry Grzybowski officiating. Visitation at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2004, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Bob was born April 25, 1945, the son of Richard and Veery (Beitz) Licence, in St. Louis, MO. He grew up in Perham, MN, graduating form Perham High school in 1963, and spent six years as a member of the Minnesota National Guard. Bob married Margeret Weickert in Sisseton, SD, on December 4, 1965. He started a small business in the early 1970s that specialized in CB radios called B & B Communications. Bob was also an employee at the Jennie O feed Mill in Perham for the better part of 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent many hours with his dog, Hunter; most recently, he had taken up sailing.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marge; four children, Mike Licence, of Frazee, MN, Kevin (Cindy) Licence, of Perham, MN, Laurie (Keith) Schleeter, of Eden Prairie, MN and Heidi Licence, of Perham, MN; seven grandchildren and two brothers, Tim (Mary) Licence, of Perham, MN, and Terry (Sandy) Licence, of Estes Park, CO.
