Tabitha "Tabby" Belmonte, age 16, of Battle Lake, MN, died Monday, March 21, 2011.
Tabby was born June 13, 1994, in St. Paul, MN. She was currently attending Perham High School as a sophomore. Tabby loved dance, children, and had a deep appreciation for nature. She had a soft spot in her heart for any and all animals and hoped to become a veterinarian. Tabby enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like picking and pressing leaves, spending time with family and friends and caring for animals. She was a wonderfully kind and gentle soul with a huge heart and a loving mother who thought the world of her daughter.
Tabby had a smile that would light up any room and cheer up anyone. She always put others before herself and was loved by many. Tabby had a graceful soul, a will as strong as steel and a heart of solid gold with the power to heal and care with the essence of a true angel. She touched the hearts of so many who will ensure her memory will live among us for lifetimes to come.
Tabby is survived by her daughter, Emma Lee Cox; mother, Bobbi (Steve) Teeple; two brothers, Nate Grismer and Steven (Nenik) Teeple; two sisters, Laura (Jake) Bunten and Tiffanie Teeple; grandfather, Ted Bergeron; grandmothers, Sue Alberts and Dorothy Teeple; great grandmothers, Carolyn Alberts and Ethod Bergeron; aunt, Denise (Dave) Niehaus; uncle, TJ Bergeron (Deb Steen); great uncles, Brian (Lisa) Alberts, Bud (Jane) Alberts and Scott Bergeron; great aunts, Louise (Jack) Yelle and Donna (Joe) Ekhaml; many cousins and numerous friends.
Preceding Tabby in death is an uncle, Tom Bergeron; great grandfathers, Ted Bergeron and Alfred Alberts; and cousins, Jim Strand and Randy Walk.
