Thomas Richard Bergeron, age 24, of Dent, MN, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at MeritCare Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2006 beginning at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with Reverend Terry Gryzbowski officiating. Visitation will be at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN, Thursday, March 16, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the church.
Tom was born March 6, 1982, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the son of Sue Kallestad and Ted Bergeron. Tom lived and breathed hunting and fishing; they both ran through his veins. He was a true outdoorsman. Tom loved being the life of the party and he lit up any room he walked into. He was an excellent chef also. Tom had a huge heart and he was always there for anyone who needed him. Tom's willingness to help everyone made him able to fit in anywhere.
Tom is survived by his mother and step-father, Sue and Bruce Kallestad; father, Ted Bergeron (Teresa Melvey); a brother, TJ Bergeron; two sisters, Denise (Dave) Niehaus; and Bobbi Brasel; step-brother, Jon (Kelly) Kallestad; step-sisters, Angela Kallestad (JR Hill); and Flo (Todd) Ferguson; grandparents, Carolyn Alberts, Ted (Ethod) Bergeron, and Bob (Joyce) Kallestad; aunts and uncles, Bud (Jane) Alberts, Brian (Lisa) Alberts, Louise (Jack) Yelle, Donna (Joe) Ekamel, Janet (Jeff) Severtson, and Cindy (Ron) Wrobel; cousins, Dan, Katy, Renae, Tammy, Joey, Kiersten, Bobby, Ted and Jessica; nieces, Tabby Belmonte, Kailyn Kallestad, and Alayna Ferguson; nephews, Nate Grismer, Teddy Bergeron, Jonathan Kallestad and Mason Ferguson.
Tom is preceded in death by his grandfather, Sonny Alberts; great grandfather, Theodore S. Bergeron; great uncle, Merle Walk; and cousin, Randy Walk.
