Troy Day

July 3, 1968 — May 8, 2004

The funeral service for Troy Day, 35, Perham, MN will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. in St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Perham with Reverend Terry Grzybowski officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham and also one hour prior to the service in the church. He died on Saturday, May 8, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Highway 228 near Perham.







Troy Alan Day was born the son of Laurence and Beverly (Bristow) Day on July 3, 1968 in Britt, Iowa. He attended school in Corwith, Iowa before moving with his family to Perham, MN. There he graduated from Perham High School in 1986. He then attended and graduated Cum Laude from Moorhead State University, Moorhead in 1993 earning his Bachelor?s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.







In 1993 Troy moved to Des Moines, Iowa and there he worked underground construction for a telephone company. In 1997, he moved to Fargo, ND and he worked construction. He moved to Perham where he worked for Loretel Systems in Pelican Rapids. He was united in marriage to Natalie Foltz on November 10, 2001 in Assumption Catholic Church, Callaway, MN.







Troy loved flying and last fall, he received his pilot license. He enjoyed riding horses with his wife Natalie, woodworking and hiking in Sedona, Arizona. He enjoyed playing golf and watching Sponge Bob Square Pants on Nickelodeon.







He is survived by his wife, Natalie of Perham, a son, Alexander Wright of Colfax, IA, his father, Laurence (Diane Elswick) of Lehigh Acres, FL., his mother, Beverly Bristow of Sun City West, AZ, a brother, Trent of Lakeville, MN, two sisters, Tracy Day of Inglewood, FL, Tara (Jay) Yoder of Phoenix, AZ, his grandparents, Lee and Irene Day of Lehigh Acres, FL, Richard and Lois Bristow of Deer Creek, MN, his father and mother-in-law, Roger and Jane Foltz of Callaway, MN, a niece, Trisha Lorzel, nephews Joshua and Justin Ball, Logan Weidner, Kevin and Garrett Yoder.







He was preceded in death by an aunt, Lovalee Cunningham.
