William Wilke

William "Bill" Wilke, 79, of Tulsa, OK and a summer resident of the Perham, MN, area, died November 22, 2011. He was born May 4, 1932, in Fargo, ND, to William F. Wilke, Sr. and Antionette (Waltz) Wilke. Bill received his primary education at St. Catherine School, in Valley City, ND, and secondary education at St. John's Academy, Jamestown, ND. He furthered his education at St. John's University, finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (1954) at the University of North Dakota. Upon completion of his degree, Bill accepted a job with Cities Service Oil Company which eventually became Occidental Petroleum. His career began in St. Paul, MN, eventually leading him to Tulsa, OK, and then to retirement after 35 years of service. Bill enjoyed his Church family at the Church of St. Mary, in Tulsa, as well as cooking, music, exercising and volunteering at the church. Friends may honor Bill's memory by making donations to Catholic Charities. A funeral Mass was held in Tulsa on November 29, 2011.
