Adam Blake

Sergeant Adam James Blake, son of the late Eileen (Steuber) Blake Brown, was born March 9, 1989 in Wadena, MN and passed away on September 28, 2013 in Fargo, ND. Adam graduated from Moorhead High School in 2007. After graduation, Adam enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, CA. He continued his training at Pensacola, FL and Cherry Point Air Station, NC. He was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, HI, and served in Afghanistan as an Advanced Aircraft Communications and Navigation Systems Technician and Combat Marksmanship Coach. He was honorably discharged in June 2012. Adam enjoyed scuba diving, archery, hunting, skydiving, and snowboarding. Adam will be remembered for his smile, spontaneity, and sense of adventure.

He was preceded in death by mother and grandfather, Oscar Steuber.

He is survived by brother Eric (Nicole), Burnsville, MN; grandmother Ruth Steuber, Perham, MN; aunts and uncles: Duaine and Barbara Steuber, New York Mills, MN; Eric and DaVida Steuber, Perham, MN; Marlin and Beverly Steuber, Winter Springs, FL; Harold and Diane (Steuber) Ness, Moorhead, MN; and 15 cousins.

Funeral Service: Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, MN.

Visitation: Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN and also one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday.

Burial: St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Perham, MN.
