Alice Marie Ott, age 92, of Perham, MN, died August 14, 2011, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Alice Marie Erb was born August 13, 1919, in Beemer, NE, to David and Anna (Greiser) Erb. She attended school in Nebraska. On June 16, 1938, Alice married Ezra Stutzman, in O'Neill, NE. They later moved to Minnesota, where they lived until 1949, and then moved back to Nebraska where they raised their six children. In 1974, Ezra and Alice returned to Minnesota and built a home in the country for their retirement. Ezra passed away from cancer in 1978. In November of 1989, Alice married Virgil Ott. Virgil passed away in 1995. Alice was known for her wonderful cooking and baking, and her sweet spirit and her close walk with God.
Surviving Alice are her daughters, Sharon Summers, Gardner, KS, Mary Trumble, Lincoln, NE, Arla (Richard) Caraboolad, Simi Valley, CA and Deanna (John) Kunza-Stuber, Fargo, ND; sister, Anne (Duane)Schmidt, Siloam Springs, AR; two brothers, James (Verda) Erb, Detroit Lakes, MN and David (Jeanne) Erb, Siloam Springs, AR; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Alice in death are her husbands, Ezra and Virgil; son, John David; son, Daniel Dean, his wife, Sandra and their son, Danny, Jr.; four sisters, Mary, Ellen, Mabel, and Ruth and one brother, Paul.
