Audrine Breitenfeldt

Audrine M. Breitenfeldt, age 81, of Perham , MN , died Thursday, March 19, 2009 , at the Elder’s Home in New York Mills, MN.


Audrine was born April 8, 1927 , at home in Pine Lake Township, Perham, the daughter of Selmer “Sam” and Gena “Gean” Peterson. Audrine attended country school and graduated from Perham High School in 1945. She married Raymond Breitenfeldt on June 15, 1950 , at Bethlehem Lutheran Church , Corliss Township , New York Mills. They farmed in Butler Township until 1984 when they moved to Rush Lake . Audrine continued to reside on Rush Lake with her son, Rick, until she was admitted to the Elder’s Home in New York Mills in February 2009. Audrine spent countless hours embroidering dishtowels, dresser scarves, and quilt squares. She also enjoyed preparing holiday meals for her children and grandchildren. Audrine spent many hours reading and listening to old time music.



Audrine is survived by a daughter, Connie (William III “Bill”) Warner, New York Mills, MN; and two sons, Randy (Beth) Breitenfeldt, Frazee, MN; and Rick Breitenfeldt, Rush Lake, MN; five grandchildren, William IV and Macailia Warner, Andy, Thann, and Brady Breitenfeldt; and sister-in-law, Alice Peterson, Laurel, MT.



Preceding Audrine in death are her parents, and a brother, Robert.
