Betty Olson

Betty Ann Olson, daughter of Roman and Thelma (Randa) Olson was born April 1, 1932 in Lincoln County, Ivanhoe, MN. She was born at home and delivered by her grandmother Anna Olson. She was the middle child of five. She lived at home with her parents until their deaths in 1979. Betty then spent several years in Hendricks, MN as a companion-caregiver to three unrelated women. Upon their deaths she returned to Perham, MN and resided at Prairie View Assisted Living. Betty died Friday, September 2, 2016 in Prairie View.

Betty was a compassionate, caring person and was especially gifted in animal and bird communication.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents and her brother Wayne. Surviving Betty is her brother Thomas (Alice) Olson of Bloomington, MN; sister-in-law Lois Olson of Hendricks, MN; sister Ruthie (Stub) Burgau of Alexandria, MN; and sister Romelle (Larry) Nelson of Perham, MN; fifteen nephews and nieces; twenty-two great-nephews and nieces; and eighteen great-great nephews and nieces.
