Beverly Miller

Beverly Jean Miller, age 80 of Perham, MN, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.  Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Perham, MN.  Burial will be in the Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery, Perham.

Beverly was born February 4, 1938 in Fergus Falls, MN to Rueben and Laura (Wilde) Halvorson.  She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church on March 6, 1938 and confirmed, June 24, 1952.  On April 6, 1957, she married Lester Miller in Elizabeth, MN.  During their marriage, Beverly and Lester lived in Fergus Falls, Elizabeth and moved to Perham in 1966 where she was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Over the years, Beverly worked for United Artist Company in Minneapolis, the Perham Creamery and was a cook at the Perham Middle School for 17 years.

She is survived by husband Lester; her six children Brian (Ann) Miller, Bruce (Brenda) Miller, Tamara Bucher, Brenda (Mike) Bormann, Lori (Joe) Schmitz, Scott (Jolene) Miller; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister Mary Donley.

Preceding Beverly in death were her parents; her two sisters, Barbara and Betty; her brothers-in-law Gene Donley and Larry Birch; and her son-in-law Barry Bucher.
