Caroline "Kelly" Buendiger, age 99, of Speedway, IN, formerly of Perham, MN, died Sept. 20, 2011, in Indianapolis, IN.
Caroline, daughter of August and Augusta Trieglaff, was born October 23, 1911 in Frazee, Minnesota, one of eleven children. Caroline is the last surviving sibling.
She grew up and attended school in Frazee, Minnesota. Caroline was chief telephone operator for Central West Public Service Co., in Frazee, for six years before her marriage to Arthur Buendiger on November 4, 1934. The couple resided in Perham, Minnesota, until Arthur's death in January of 2001. She then moved to Speedway, Indiana to live with her daughter, Lois, who passed away in November of 2010. She continued to live in Speedway at Northwest Manor until her death.
She is survived by her son David (Karen), five grandchildren: Janelle, Greg, Diana, Jeffrey and Julie, and eight great grandchildren: Tony, Angelia, Benjamin, Zachary, Ellie, Lindsey, Katie and Stephane.
