Ceil passed away January 6, 2017 into her loving Savior's arms at the age of 91.

Ceil was baptized September 27, 1925 at North Germany Lutheran Church, rural Sebeka, MN. She was confirmed May 19, 1940 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sebeka, MN.

Ceil grew up in North Germany Township, Wadena County. She enjoyed outdoor work and helping her mom care for her younger siblings Ted, Gloria and Onie. She was an accomplished quilter and seamstress. She sewed many outfits for her daughter and granddaughters. Bowling was a passion and her 160 average was maintained for years. Ceil also enjoyed many trips with family and friends.

Ceil was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edwin; her brothers Orlin Nolte and Hank Nolte; and her brothers-in-law Melvin Schultz, Curtis Goldhammer and LeRoy Treibwasser.
