Charles Doyle Johnson

Charles "Chuck" Johnson, 66, of Richville, MN, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, after a brief illness.

Charles Doyle Johnson was born on April 28, 1960, in Alexandria, MN, to Marvin and Mabel (Clemens) Johnson. The family lived in Hoffman, MN, until 1973, when they moved to Perham, MN. Chuck graduated from Perham High School in 1978. Following graduation, he moved to Fargo, ND, and began working at Pan-O-Gold Bakery. In 1996, he joined Russell Construction, traveling extensively throughout the United States. He later returned to Perham, working for Tuffy's Pet Foods and the Frazee Care Center before retiring.

Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a dedicated baseball fan, played on various local softball teams, and enjoyed reading and trivia.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mark.

He is survived by his sisters, Robin (Robert) Lee of Yelm, WA, and Kelly (Scott) Schmidt of Perham, MN, as well as his nephews, Michael and Matthew Lee.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 - 4 pm on September 19, 2026, at Silver Moon in Perham, MN.
