Charles Meyer

Charles Duane Meyer, age 73 of Dent, MN passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at his home. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dent with Father George Michael officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM with parish prayers at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dent. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, rural Perham, MN.

Chuck spent the majority of his work life in the agricultural feed business and his last few years as a rural mail carrier. His greatest satisfaction was in the gift of having a loving and caring family. Some of his favorites; dancing with his wife, reading to his grandkids, watching EWTN, coffee at Nootzie's, lunch with Eileen Trites, a good crossword puzzle, and a western book, song or movie.

Charles is survived by his wife JoAnn (Sorum) Meyer, their six children; Scott (Lori), Chris (Sarah), Becky (Mark), Tom, Mary (Dan) and Dave (Natalie), 17 of 18 grandchildren, his sister Glenna Faye (Allen) Fitzgerald, and brother Greg (Peg) Meyer.

Preceded by his father Glen, mother Alice, and granddaughter Madeline.
