Charlotte Ann Brown, age 48 of New York Mills, Minnesota passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota. A funeral service will be held at the Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham on Saturday, December 15, 2012 beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Vosika officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 4 – 8 PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery, rural Richville, MN.

Charlotte was born on June 24, 1964 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Elton and Lois (Enger) Hauge. She grew up in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, one of 5 children; brothers Pat, Jerry, Roger and Brian.

At age 16, Charlotte met her soul mate and husband Wayne Brown. They were united in marriage on February 26, 1983 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Out of their union of love, they brought into the world three wonderful boys, Danny, Joey and Christopher. She was a dedicated wife, mother and Christian. Later, after the boys were grown, she enrolled in The Word of Faith Bible College in Vergas, Minnesota where she earned her degree.

Charlotte was a very busy person with a heart of pure gold. She enjoyed reading, crafts, camping, picnics, 4-wheeling, horses, visiting, taking the annual hunting trip to Montana with her husband, 3 boys, and nephew Timmy. Her favorite past-time was spending quality time with her family, nieces and nephews. The number of people she touched in her lifetime is too numerous to even begin to tell.

Preceding Charlotte in death are her parents, Elton and Lois Hauge; her brother, Roger Hauge; father-in-law, Carlos Brown; and sister-in-law, Debbie Hauge.

Surviving Charlotte is her husband, Wayne Brown; three sons, Danny, Joey and Christopher; three brothers, Patrick, Jerry, and Brian Hauge; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
