Constance "Connie" A. Foltz

Taken too soon, our mother and wife Connie Foltz, born July 20, 1951, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 71. 

Nothing meant more to Connie than her grandkids, family traditions, holiday celebrations, her love for her students with special needs, and her school family and friends. Our most special memories of Connie will include morning coffee, garage sales, her flower gardens and river lot, finding a good “deal”, giving gifts to others, dancing in her “boots”, and always finding a way to be the life of the party. Donnie and Connie were married 49 years and were blessed with five children and 19 grandchildren. Together they enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping with family, nights at the river lot, and constantly updating their beautiful home. Even when diagnosed with a terminal illness, Connie still found ways to bring joy to others, always placing them first. She had an unbelievable faith, positive outlook, and a laugh that lit up any room. Her fight to live was an example to all that “life is good.” 

Connie is survived by her husband Donnie; sons Zachary (Betsy) Foltz and Joseph (Tasha) Foltz; daughters Mackenzie (Bryan) Blume, Tiffany (Travis) Nagel, and Courtney (Nathan) Rooney; 19 grandchildren Kymree, Taya, and Edison, Eve, Chloe, Quinn, and Finley, Alex, Haley, Brody, and Maddux, Abby, Jake, and Cade, and Noah, Natalie, Ty, Josie, and Paisley; her two brothers Paul (Karen) Krueger and Phil (Nancy) Krueger; and her sister Diane Allen. Connie was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Doris (Lefebvre) Krueger; her brother-in-law Jim Allen; and good family friend George Perszyk. 

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:00 on Sunday, October 9 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Perham. Visitation will resume beginning at 12:00 noon followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00 on Monday, October 10 at St. Henry’s Church. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Perham.
