Frazee, MN

Daryl David Woodard, age 57 died unexpectedly at his home on August 28, 2022. He was born July 4, 1965 in Parkers Prairie, MN to Donald and Geraldine Woodard.

He grew up in rural Hewitt, MN and attended Deer Creek High School. After graduation Daryl, worked at Swifts and Homecrest. Daryl has driven many miles looking down corn and bean rows in Otter Tail & Becker counties, working as a custom fertilizer applicator.

Daryl enjoyed many fourth of July/birthday celebrations, to which many times consisted of a hog roast and a mud run at his place. A good time was had by all who attended. Many conversations and beverages were enjoyed sitting around the table in his shop. He took great pride in improving and maintaining his yard. From planting trees to having a weed free lawn. Everything neatly had its place. In his spare time, he enjoyed building fish houses and fish house trailer frames. If he wasn't at work he was in his shop, he thoroughly enjoyed ice fishing and looked forward to it every year.

Daryl is survived by his mother, Geraldine Woodard; brothers, Richard (Jolene) Woodard, Ronald Woodard, and Larry Woodard; sister, Janice Tervo; nephews and nieces; and close friends Bud & Julie Ellenberg and Shawn Koplin. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Woodard.
