Dietrich Juen

Dietrich "Dick" Juen, age 72 and longtime resident of the Vergas-Frazee, MN, area passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 , at the Frazee Care Center with his family at his side.


Dick was born March 5, 1938 , to John and Grace (Pickar) Juen in Bluffton , MN , and graduated high school in Sebeka , MN , in 1956. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Anderson on June 6, 1956 . Dick and Joan were blessed with four children. After marriage, Dick, along with his wife, Joan, worked hard on a cattle and crop farm. They moved to their current residence in the early '70's where Dick worked 35+ years doing carpentry work mainly in the Perham, MN, area.


Dick, "Dad", "Brother", and "Friend" will be missed by his wife of 54 years, Joan, Frazee, MN; two sons, Paul Juen, Dent, MN; and Adam (Dawn) Juen, Frazee, MN; two daughters, Valerie Henn (Richard Tapio), Menahga, MN; and Benita (Steve) Gode, Staples, MN; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Lauretta Clay, Casper, WY; Joanne Hebig, Colorado Springs, CO; and Barb (Sidney) Edelbrock, Clarkridge, AR; a brother in law, Whitey Klassen, Vergas, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; the special staff at the Frazee Care Center; and many other people who knew Dick.


Preceding Dick in death are his parents, John and Grace; brother, Jerome Juen; and sister, Mary Klassen.
