Dolores J. Hucke age 83 of Ottertail, MN, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Dolores Jane Beyer was born September 9, 1932 in Toterville, IA, the daughter of George and Elfrieda (Hackbart) Beyer. She graduated from high school in Mitchell, IA, and on October 14, 1950 was united in marriage to Verne Hucke. Dolores had worked for the Meinerz Creamery in Fredricksburg, IA and cleaned cars for Rueber Chevrolet in Westgate, IA. In 1979 they moved to Round Lake in Ottertail, MN, and retired from Tuffy's Pet Foods after 11 years. Dolores loved fishing, loons and eagles, polka music and dancing. She loved the color red and was a wonderful cook who loved chocolate and ice cream. Dolores was obsessed with her lawn and enjoyed taking care of it with her John Deere mower. She was a worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and a very active member of the Murphy UMC in Westgate, IA.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kaltenbach (Rich Glass); step-daughter in law, Anna; brothers, Denny (Judy), Dean, and John (Chris); a sister, Dallas "Tootie" (Glen) Heinzerling; sisters in law, Dorothy, Dorothy and Sharon; special friends Brenda, Onen and Karen; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; a new special great-great niece, Kailey; and her Godchildren, Faith Jensen, Lori Bartha and Kelly Anderson.

Preceding Dolores in death is her husband, Verne; parents, George and Elfreida; stepson, Dave; brothers, Donald, Delbert, Daryl and Dale; sister, Dorothy; brother in law, Bob Clayton; and sister in law, Anola.
