Dorothy Miller

Dorothy L. Miller, age 80, of Dent, MN, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 , in, Fargo , ND , under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley .


Dorothy Lucille Lien was born May 5, 1928 , in Fairmount , ND , the daughter of Carl and Alberta (Kurtz) Lien. On November 12, 1946 , Dorothy was united in marriage to Gerald Miller in Bemidji , MN . Together they had three children. Her family was her pride and joy. She also loved spending time at the Senior Center playing card games, such as Hand and Foot. Throughout the years she crocheted and knitted many beautiful things for her family.



Dorothy is survived by two children, Diane (Larry) Eichhorn, Fargo, ND; and Jerry (Julie) Miller, White, SD; six grandchildren, Darby (Susan) Eichhorn, Dave (Lana) Eichhorn, Leah Miller, Elle Miller, David Miller, and Blake Miller; and three great grandchildren, Alex, Ellie, and Keeley Eichhorn.



Preceding Dorothy in death are her parents; husband, Gerald; daughter, Linda Kay; and two brothers, Clarence Lien and Carl Lien, Jr.
