Ella Rehbein

Ella D. Rehbein, age 92, lifetime resident of the Perham and Dent area, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the Thomas House II. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

Ella Dorothy Rick was born at home in Gorman Township to George and Minnie (Hilmer) Rick on May 7, 1922. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham and also attended parochial school at St. Paul's. Ella helped on the farm until her marriage to Robert Carl Rehbein on May 27, 1967. Robert and Ella retired on May 24, 1994 and moved to their new home on State Highway 108 near Perham. Robert passed away on September 7, 2002.

Ella loved the outdoors, especially picking wild berries to preserve them. She also loved working with her many flowers. She belonged to the Lady Slipper Garden Club in Perham.

Preceding Ella in death were her parents; her husband, Robert; and her siblings, Dorothy Rick, Willie Rick and Nettie Carow.

Surviving Ella are many nieces and nephews.
