Esther Guck, age 96, of Perham, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Perham Living. A funeral mass will held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Perham Living chapel with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Visitation will also be held at the Perham Living chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Esther was born February 8, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA to Tom and Martha (Dulski) Lokomski. She married Roman Guck on April 5, 1956 in Aliquippa, PA, later moving to MN. After retiring they moved to Perham, MN.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Roman Guck, her parents, two step-sons, Leroy and Bernard; and son-in-law Phillip Dorn. She is survived by step-daughters, Annella Dorn of Oro Valley, AZ and Kathleen (Harold) Sunstrom of New York Mills; and daughter-in-law Carol Guck of Truth or Consequences, NM; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Esther enjoyed her time at Perham Living playing Bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles and especially her involvement in the "Adopt a Grandchild Program". She enjoyed arts and crafts and her special memories of time spent with her grandchildren.
