Eugene Adam Hassler, age 84, of Fergus Falls, MN, surrounded by his friends, peacefully went home to the Lord on January 22, 2012.
Eugene was born in Perham, MN, on July 20, 1927, and lived with his parents on the farm, in Perham, until 1962. His later years were happily spent at "Arlington Home" in Fergus Falls and working at Productive Alternatives, in Fergus Falls, until he retired from there to the daycare program at "Willows". Eugene enjoyed his family, many friends and being involved in the community.
Preceding Eugene in death are his parents, Eugene B. and Ina (Clark) Hassler; sister, Rosemary Karsnia and two infant sisters.
Survivors include his sister, Sr. Helen Hassler, OSF, of Little Falls, MN, and, brother, Joseph (Lory) Hassler of St. Louis Park, MN.
The family is grateful to the caring staff at "Arlington House" and "Willows".
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to "Our Lady of Victory Church" in Fergus Falls or charity of your choice.
