Florence Jeannette (Borden) Casler of Dent, MN went to her eternal home on February 23, 2018.
Born in Cogswell, ND on November 20, 1924 to Howard and Mary (Seth) Borden, she grew up in Fargo graduating from Fargo Central High School in 1942. She worked in the secretarial\accounting field for many years. Florence married Irvin Casler on January 19, 1944. Together they had six children: Marshall (Kay Wylie) Casler of Clever, MO, Mary Nordbeck of Dent, Monica (Garry) Kalma of Manson, WA, Madelyn (Ronald) Cook of Snoqualmie, WA, Marilyn (Scott) Westphal of Marysville, WA and Marlene (Richard) Larson of Manson, WA.
After many years living in ND and MN, Florence moved to Marysville, WA where she resided for 25 years. Five years ago, she returned to MN and was living in Dent with her daughter Mary, who was a wonderful, loving caregiver and companion to our mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Irvin; brothers Howard, Vernon, Perry and Russell; sisters Doris and Bonnie; grandson Charles Casler; daughter-in-law Deborah Casler; and son-in-law James Nordbeck. Besides her six children she is also survived by her sister LaVerle Severson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her very much.
Florence loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Wherever she lived, she was faithful to attend church and worship God. She was active in Bible studies and loved serving the church and community in many ways. She could always be counted on to help and pray for others in their time of need.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham, MN. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
