Florian J. Lonski, age 83 of Perham and Dent, Minnesota, passed away on November 30, 2012. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Perham Living Chapel with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the chapel. Burial will take place in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Perham.
Florian was born in Perham, Minnesota on June 24, 1929, the son of Ambrose and Helen (Sazama) Lonski.
Florian grew up on the family farm in Dent and farmed the land until he retired and moved to Perham. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and bingo.
Surviving Florian is his sister, Gertrude Ulschmid; brother, Paul Lonski; three nieces; four nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Florian in death are his parents; sister, Martha Ulschmid; two brothers-in-law, Everett and John Ulschmid; niece, Karen Christensen; and one great nephew, Christopher.
