Gerald Edward Brasel, age 70, of Perham, MN, died at his home, November 26, 2011, with comfort care provided by Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Gerald was born on January 12, 1941, the son of Walter and Elva (Huwe) Brasel, in Perham. He was united in marriage with Shirley Walker, on November 15, 1969, at St. Paula�(TM)s Lutheran Church, Evergreen, MN. Gerald worked many years for John Deere. He was an electrician and also worked for Case IH. Gerald loved helping Sherman Mandt with the tree farm in Perham. He also enjoyed helping people out, hunting, fishing and giving people a bad time. Gerald always joked that a marriage license should be like a drivera�(TM)s license. Our Grandbaby German Shepherd came to say goodbye on Thanksgiving Day. Gerald truly enjoyed her.
