Gerald Lorin Schroer (Jerry), 81, of Ottertail, Minnesota died Sunday, September 28th, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
Gerald was born April 10th, 1933 in Hastings, MN.
Survived by wife, Gail Marie Schroer (Hanson); children, Susan Nolan (Jim), Richard Schroer (Jennifer Clark), James Schroer (Laura), Judy Woodworth (Jon), Tom Schroer (Vickie), Patti Carruth (Art); grandchildren, Judith Phillips, Tom & Gerald Brayan Nolan, Jessica, Kyle & Brixius Woodworth, Charlie, Bailey & Owen Carruth, Alysha, Sam, Jackson, Delanie, Jacob, Taylor & Callie Schroer; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Donna Lindberg (Peter) & Ed Schroer (Renee); many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family friends, and special longtime friends, Bob & Babe Riestenberg.
Predeceased by parents, Edward & Albena (Archibald) Schroer; son, David Schroer; brother, Robert Schroer; granddaughters, Samantha Anderson Schroer & Sarah Nolan.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 3, from 5:00-7:00 PM with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6:30 PM and parish prayers at 7:00 PM at Schoeneberger Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
