Jared Kawlewski, age 20 of Richville, MN died on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Perham, MN. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham, MN with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Monday. Burial will take place in the Richville Village Cemetery, Richville, MN.

Jared was born on July 20, 1993 in Perham, MN the son of Barb Torgerson and Larry Kawlewski. Jared was a kind-hearted kid who always put other's needs before his own. His love for others had absolutely no boundaries. He enjoyed playing games on his computer, metal detecting, fishing with his brothers and spending time with his family and friends. Jared was always very giving. A personal quote that Jared wrote and lived by was, "A man with nothing to lose always has something to give." He was always there to lend a helping hand. Jared worked hard and truly enjoyed his job at Time Communications, a division of Arvig. Jared's legacy will forever live on through his family and friends. Jared's final wish for everyone is to, "Live for today, look forward to tomorrow and don't forget to smile."

Preceding Jared in death is his grandfather, Donald Torgerson; aunt, Linda Torgerson; uncle, Keven Torgerson; and brother-in-law, Alan Hunter.

Surviving Jared is his mother, Barb (Dave Nagel) Torgerson; his father, Larry (Eileen Kusick) Kawlewski; his siblings, Tracy Hunter, Tanya (Rick) Sazama, TamiJo (Tim) Hopwood, Tara (Jeremy) Skogen, Tina (Mike) Kawlewski, Joseph Kawlewski, Jonathon (Catrena) Kawlewski, Jacob Kawlewski, Trisha Kawlewski, and Tory Kawlewski; nieces and nephews, Adam, Alicia, Haley and Hannah Hunter; Hunter, Mason and Rhagen Sazama; Makaila, Laine and Marissa Hopwood; Bryce, Brenna, Brooklyn, Brandi and Bridget Skogen; and Carson and Easton Kawlewski; and grandparents, Betty Torgerson and Oscar and LaVonne Kawlewski.
