John Fredrick Horn, 76 of Perham, MN died Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Perham Health. Visitation with lunch will be held Saturday, September 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham. Lunch and fellowship will resume following the service at the funeral home.
John was born June 8, 1941 in St. Paul, MN the son of John “Jack” and Alice (Glore) Horn. On December 2, 1961 John was united in marriage to Judy Hughes. Their marriage was blessed with four daughters. John and Judy considered Lake Mary near Alexandria, MN home. John spent most of his working career in construction as a heavy machinery operator and as a side job he enjoyed playing the drums. His hobbies included fishing, golfing, woodworking, carving and more fishing.
Surviving John is his wife of 55 years Judy; his daughters Lisa Horn of Perham, Wendy Jacobson of Frazee, MN, Kelly Neyens of Perham and Carla (Travis) Scofield of Bellingham, MN; his grandchildren Blair, Hunter and Tanner Neyens and Colt and Ty Scofield; along with his sisters Donna (Ed) Rotter, Jackie (Dale) Wisherd and Barb (John) Olson.
