Joshua Karsnia

Joshua Matthew Karsnia, age 25 of Perham, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 3, in his home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Schoeneberger Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church.

Josh was born September 22, 1987 in Perham, Minnesota, the son of Steve and Mary (Malikowski) Karsnia.

Josh loved farming. His favorite animals were pigs. He also had goats, ducks and his latest addition was a donkey named Jack. He also enjoyed fishing; both ice fishing and summer fishing. He was out on Saturday, February 2 and caught a nice Northern that he was very happy about.

Surviving Josh is his two-year-old son, Mason who he loved dearly; his parents, Steve and Mary; his brothers, Danny and Ben; his sister, Samantha; his grandparents, Stanley and Marie Malikowski; his great-grandma, Elaine Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Preceding Josh in death are his grandparents, John and Rosemary Karsnia; his great-grandparents, Matt and Marie Malikowski, Ed and Pauline Karsnia, and Andy Johnson.

Josh will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
