Lila Lubitz

Lila Lubitz, age 82 of Perham, Minnesota died on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Perham Living. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham and will resume one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

Lila Sophia Lake was born on April 14, 1931, the daughter of Arthur and Lempi (Hillstrom) Lake in Meadow Township. She was a bookkeeper for 46 years. Lila loved to keep up her lawn and flower gardens and will be remembered especially for her Hostas. She was "Grandma Lila" to many.

Preceding Lila in death are her parents; her husband, Darold "Buddy"; and her brother, John Lake.

Surviving Lila are her children, Buck (Penny) Burgau, Speeder (LeAnn) Burgau, and Diane (Don) Evenson; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig) Schwantz, Rachel (Bryant) Bergeson, Katie (Doug) Erickson, Luke Burgau, Joe (Kathy) Evenson, Becky (Hans) Larson, Patti (Kevan) Greene, Jake Lubitz, Wade Lubitz, John Lubitz, Brice Lubitz and Megan Lubitz; her great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Austin, Tyden, Tate, Henry, Bailey, Zach, Kellen, Rylan and Trevor; her siblings, Ervin (Phoebe) Lake, Lucille Heiskala, Archie (Joyce) Lake, Bernice (Robert) Reini; special friend, Dorothy (Harold) Ludtke; her stepsons, Jeff Lubitz and Mark Lubitz; along with many nieces and nephews.
