Linda Lou Jacobson passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the age of 77 in her home under the care of Lakeland Hospice. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the celebration of Linda's life at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham, MN.
Linda was born September 13, 1939 in Perham, the daughter of Gustav and Orel (Eckert) Genoch. She married LeRoy Jacobson on July 12, 1958 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dent, MN.
Linda was spunky, funny, loving and kind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Linda loved to spend time working in her beautiful yard. Linda loved her home in Richville, MN and was granted her final wish to enter heaven directly from her home.
Surviving Linda is her husband of 58 years, LeRoy Jacobson; her son Alan Jacobson (fiancé Lara Carlson); daughter Tammie Jacobson; brothers Alfred (Vicky) Genoch and Ed (Bernice) Genoch; her sister Ruth Anderson; and too many more loving family members to name.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents and her daughter Penne (Jacobson) Langlie in 1999.
