Lois Irene Sundberg was born on March 2, 1927 in Logan, IA, the daughter of William and Sarah (Haner) Spanswick. Lois moved to Minnesota in 1936 and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1946. Lois was united in marriage to Leonard Sundberg on July 1, 1946 in Henning, MN. They spent all of their married life in Richville, MN.
Lois loved to entertain visitors. She enjoyed being with her siblings and their families and children. She had many hobbies to keep her busy until diabetes took her eyesight. Lois enjoyed gardening, embroidery, hand quilting, canning, and sewing.
Surviving Lois are her three children, Beverly (Frank) Holzer, Elizabeth "Sue" (Danny) Dunlap, and Larry (Pam) Sundberg; brother, James (Betty) Spanswick; sister, Alice (Vernon) Pederson; seven grandchildren, Bob (Jen) Holzer, Brenda (Kelly) Menz, Kim (Jeremie) Schossow, Brian Holzer, Stephanie Dunlap, Steven (Jen) Sundberg, and Laura Schumacher; and 14 great-grandchildren, Emily and Logan Holzer; Kole, Karter and Kasen Menz; Caden and Coby Schossow; Steven Jr., Emma, Addison, and Brennan Sundberg; and Quenten, Aurora, and Lyam Schumacher.
Preceding Lois in death are her parents; husband, Leonard; two brothers, William Spanswick and Clarence Spanswick; and one sister, Anna Kimber.
