Lori-Ann M. "Lori" Belcourt, age 29, of New York Mills, Minnesota died Monday, December 3, 2012 in her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8. 2012 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Assembly of God Church in New York Mills, Minnesota with Pastor Larry Bessler officiating.
Lori was born on July 6, 1983 in Breckenridge, Minnesota, the daughter of Raymond Henry and Donna Marie (Tetzlaff) Martens. She grew up in the Breckenridge area. Lori received her GED in 2008 while struggling with disabilities. Lori married Allen Belcourt on April 21, 2012. They lived in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, later moving to New York Mills, Minnesota in September 2012. Lori was working on a Veterinary Tech degree online through Penn Foster.
Surviving Lori is her husband, Allen of New York Mills, Minnesota; her son, Jacob; mother, Donna Martens of Breckenridge, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Scott (Bobbie) Belcourt of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Hanna Belcourt of Perham, Minnesota; mother-in-law, Loretta Zitzow (Stan Keller) of Perham, Minnesota; father-in-law, Steve Belcourt (Katrina Else) of Fargo, North Dakota; grandparents; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many half-sisters and half-brothers.
Preceding Lori in death is her father, Raymond Martens; grandmother-in-law, Nancy Zitzow; grandfather-in-law, Lawrence Belcourt; and step grandfather-in-law Marvin Johnson.
