Mark Johnson, age 63 of Fargo, ND died Friday, December 2, 2022 in his home of natural causes. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
Mark Clement Johnson was born January 28, 1959 in Alexandria, MN, the son of Marvin and Mabel (Clemens) Johnson. The family lived in Hoffman, MN until 1973 when they moved to Perham, MN. Mark attended Perham High School. In his younger years, Mark did farm work and tree trimming. After high school, he joined the National Guard and was honorably discharged due to medical reasons. In 1977, Mark started working for the New York Mills Silo Company and in 1980, he moved to Fargo and began working for Pan-O-Gold Baking Company. In 1994, he started his employment with Dakota Fence where Mark worked as an installer until 2018.
Mark enjoyed softball, fishing, both water and ice, boating with his brother Chuck, home improvement projects, tinkering with things, playing cribbage, and spending time with his friends.
Preceding Mark in death were his parents.
Surviving Mark are his siblings Chuck of Richville, MN, Robin (Robert) Lee of Yelm, WA, and Kelly (Scott) Schmidt of Perham; and his nephews Michael and Matthew Lee.
